For Veterinarians

At Rivers Veterinary Urgent Care, we are available six days a week to assist you with same day urgent care and emergency surgery.

While we do not require a referral, we strongly suggest either your hospital or doctor calls to discuss a case with us before transfer. We are a first come, first serve bases. We also prioritize the most urgent cases or surgical cases. Please contact us and fill out the form at the bottom.

We work collaboratively with surrounding veterinarians to facilitate easier access to same day urgent needs including:

• Splenectomies
• Cystotomies
• C-Sections / Pyometras
• Foreign Bodies
• GDV’s
• Deobstipations
• Enucleations
• Urethral Retropulsion
• Amputations
• Aural Hematomas

And many more.

We also offer routine / scheduled appointments and surgeries. If your patient is non-urgent, we may prefer a scheduled appointment. This is usually recommended for:

• FHO
• Lateral Suture (CCL repair)
• Patellar Correction
• Liver Lobectomies
• Nephrectomies
• Anal Sacculectomy
• Perineal Urethrostomy (May be considered urgent, contact us)
